With the exception of their significant size, there
is very little differentiating the salamanders
encountered on Rubi-Ka and those of Earth. These
amphibians have been brought to Rubi-Ka to provide a
more robust wildlife atmosphere, allowing the almost
barren waterways to experience some vibrancy of life.
They feed primarily on rollerrat and leet young, when
they can catch them, or an omnivorous diet of small
plants and insects.
