The sharks of Rubi-Ka are genetically superior, enhanced
versions of the ancient Great White Shark, famous in
the annals of Earth lore as one of the most ferocious
fish ever encountered by man. These sharks are larger,
stronger, and faster than their unmodified forebears,
and possess one of the most devastating bites of any
animal on the planet. In general, it is a very good
idea to avoid confronting these animals, as they exist
only in the water, where the majority of our weapons
are unusable.
Recently, as Omni-Tek attempted to upgrade its weather
control system, the process had some undesired environmental
effects. These effects included the assumed total extinction
of the Piranhas and the Sharks.
