When JAME prepared their portals to the Shadowlands,
a mysterious entity named Ergo appeared in the wilds of
Rubi-Ka. He advised all those
who approached that their efforts were needed in the
defense of the Shadowlands, and as an explorer
progressed through the Shadowlands, they ran into even
more nodes of this strange entity, each controlling
access from one land to the next, and telling cryptic
tales of the origins of himself, the factions, the
Shadowlands, and Rubi-Ka itself.
